November Group Schedule
Ask your counselor for a group schedule and which groups
are appropriate for your phase in treatment.
***********************************
Last day for compliance in November
will be Tuesday, November 21. Billing changes will be turned
into the business office on Wednesday and will be effective
on Saturday, November 25. Holiday
Travel Doses Remember,
all requests for extra doses for the holidays have to be
sent to the State Methadone Authority for approval and this
can take several days up to weeks to be
approved. AND the request has to be far enough in advance
to prepare the take homes. This
cannot be done overnight! ************************************
Clients- Before you leave the hospital get the doctor to
sign your discharge papers stating any and all medications
you have been given while in the hospital – especially
if you have been dosed with methadone. Be sure that he lists
when you were dosed and how much you were given. Present
this paper to the dosing nurse when you return to the clinic.
This will save you lots of time when you return to dosing.
************************************ From
the Dosing Room
Proper Attire for dosing - NO

Holiday Dosing Hours Be
sure to take note of the Holiday Dosing Hour changes for
November and December. This information has been posted
for a few weeks so it should not come as a surprise. There
are several days of no late dosing as well as days the front
office will be closed. Also some counselors have planned
vacation time around the holidays so get your individual
sessions and groups in early in the month in November and
December to avoid any problems. There will be NO
groups on the days the front office is closed.

Community Service

during the month of November. Items needed are paper towels,
bleach, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, liquid hand
soap, garbage bags, air fresheners, glass cleaner, light

November 2006 Physicals
Dr. Camp is in the clinic on Tuesday
and Thursday afternoons and on Wednesdays. Make appointments
with the front office for your physical and to see your
counselor. You have the month your physical is due to schedule
and keep an appointment. All physicals are held at Walker
Recovery Center. Check with your counselor to make sure
your physical is not past due from a previous month to avoid
a possible dose reduction or loss of take homes.
