December Group Schedule
Ask your counselor for a group schedule and which groups are appropriate for your phase in treatment. Some groups will be cancelled due to the holidays.

Last day for compliance in December will be Tuesday, December 19. Billing changes will be turned into the business office on Wednesday and will be effective on Saturday, December 23.

Holiday Travel Doses
Remember, all requests for extra doses for the holidays have to be sent to the State Methadone Authority for approval and this can take several days up to weeks to be approved. AND the request has to be far enough in advance to prepare the take homes.
This cannot be done overnight!

Holiday Dosing Hours
Be sure to take note of the Holiday Dosing Hour changes for December. These are also posted in several areas in the clinic.
No late dosing on:
Thurs. Dec. 21; Fri. Dec 22; Thur. Dec.28 and Fri. Dec. 29.
CHRISTMAS:
Friday Dec. 22 – Mon. Dec. 25.
6 am – 8 am NO LATE DOSING
NEW YEAR:
Saturday Dec. 30 – Mon. Jan. 1
6 am – 8 am NO LATE DOSING

Client Contest
Walker Recovery Center is sponsoring a Christmas contest for our clients. There will be a jar in the window in the dosing room filled with candy. Each client will be allowed one guess for the number of candies in the jar. There will be 4 prizes with a value up to $100 awarded to the clients with the closest guesses. The contest will be held from Dec. 9 thru Dec. 15. Look for the jar during that week!

Humane Shelter Community Service Project to continue in December
We will continue accepting donations for the Walker County Humane Society during the month of December. Items needed are paper towels, bleach, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, liquid hand soap, garbage bags, air fresheners, glass cleaner, light bulbs, Purina Puppy Chow and Little Friskies Canned Cat Food. Make sure your name, number and counselor’s name is on an attached piece of paper to receive a community service group credit. The last day to make a donation will be Tues. Dec. 19th.

Dr. Camp is in the clinic on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and on Wednesdays. Make appointments with the front office for your physical and to see your counselor. You have the month your physical is due to schedule and keep an appointment. All physicals are held at Walker Recovery Center. Check with your counselor to make sure your physical is not past due from a previous month to avoid a possible dose reduction or loss of take homes.

Please disregard if you have recently had your physical!
